Maybe, maybe not. Most cases do not go to trial, especially if you hire the right attorney. The right attorney who actually handles these cases every day will do a much better job at avoiding the jury trial than someone who’s learning along the way. Maybe they have a general practice. Maybe they usually take family law cases in bankruptcy, in criminal defense, and they’re just really happy to take your car accident case because they like to learn it. Well, I don’t think you should gamble with your health that way. I don’t think you should gamble with your money that way. Go find somebody who’s already been doing it every day and you’ll be glad you did.
