Morrin Law Office

OUR VISION

Morrin Law Office helps folks in Kentucky who are dealing with an insurance claim, either because they’ve been hurt by someone else or because their own insurance company has denied their claim. This usually means we are helping the family of those who have passed away or those who have suffered a serious injury such as an injury to their spine, head trauma, or multiple broken bones by aggressively and proactively protecting the interests of our clients. Whether your insurance company has denied your claim, or if you have been hurt due to the fault of another, know that the Kentucky personal injury lawyers at Morrin Law Office focus on protecting your rights and getting you healthy again, all while avoiding litigation when possible. We protect the money of not only our clients, but our potential clients as well; sometimes that means talking ourselves out of a job but only when that will benefit the individual trusting us with their problems. If we can’t add value then we will not take your case and we will point you in the right direction.

More About Robert

Robert “Rob” A. Morrin was raised in Richmond, Kentucky, along with his three siblings, by his parents Joan, a loving mother who delayed her own education and nursing career to stay home to teach her children, and Robert Morrin, a retired Christian pastor and educator for over a quarter of a century. From his parents Rob obtained an appreciation and passion for doing good by others as a way of life that translated into the business philosophy of the Morrin Law Office.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University in four years, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After personally experiencing and hearing of so many horror stories about how those in power–corporations, ultra-wealthy, politicians, lawyers, etc.–habitually take advantage of individuals and those who lack the power or means to obtain justice, Rob thought that there must be a better way to do business and to interact with the world that doesn’t leave anyone feeling like their head was stepped on. Because of this experience, and his blue-collar upbringing, Rob chose law school as a means to 1) be the change he wanted to see in the world, 2) help others with work that fulfills his soul, and 3) last, but certainly not least, provide for his family.

Upon graduation from EKU, Rob immediately enrolled at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, having received the distinguished Henry Clay Scholarship. While at Chase, he served as a Member of the Honor Council, a Student Representative in the Student Bar Association, a Congressional Intern for Congressman Ben Chandler on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., a Group Leader for the pro bono project Water for Haiti, and a Criminal Defense Intern with the Kentucky Innocence Project. After graduating from Chase and passing the Kentucky Bar Examination on his first attempt, he moved home to Richmond, Kentucky to establish the Morrin Law Office, where he has served the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a dedicated personal injury lawyer.

Rob never expected to become a personal injury lawyer in Kentucky, but he was surprised to find that injured Kentuckians were routinely being taken advantage of by the insurance companies; often receiving pennies on the dollar when filing an injury claim without the help of an injury professional. Rob is proud of the way his team stands up to the insurance companies to make sure their clients are treated with dignity when they have an injury claim. The insurance companies are happy to accept your monthly premium payments and the Morrin Law Office is happy to make sure the insurance companies hold up their end of the bargain when the time comes for you to file an injury claim.

Rob is admitted to practice in all state courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Eastern District of the United States District Court. He is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association, Fayette County Bar Association, and the Kentucky Justice Association.

Rob is also working in cooperation with #EndPartisanship.org to defend and promote the principle that every voter is entitled to an equal right of meaningful participation in the election process, whether or not they choose to affiliate with a political party.

Rob has been selected for membership in the National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 which is a professional organization composed of the top trial attorneys in each state who are under the age of 40. Membership into the “Top 40 Under 40” is by invitation only and is extended to those trial lawyers who practice in the fields of criminal defense, and/or civil plaintiff law. Those who are invited have demonstrated superior qualifications, trial results and leadership in their fields of practice as young trial lawyers. The selection process is multi-phased and includes peer nominations and third-party research.

Other awards Rob has received for superior services in personal injury include 1) Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney by Attorney and Practice Magazine, 2) 10 Best Attorney by The American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and 3) AVVO’s Gold Client Champion Award.

Rob is a published author, featured in the book Fighting for Justice: Insights from America’s Premier Personal Injury Attorneys alongside other personal injury experts from across the nation. The book reached #1 New Release in Personal Injury Law on Amazon.

When he is not protecting the legal interests of his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, volunteering, keeping up with local sports and politics, patronizing local businesses, running (often with his German Shepherd, Yogi), and playing at least one weekly session of pickup basketball.
