This is a video in our LawTok series: Straight Talk with a Personal Injury Lawyer
Video Transcript:
Hey guys, this is Rob Morrin, your favorite Kentucky personal injury attorney, here to talk about the
recent Supreme Court decision that overturned 50 years of precedent that was established in Roe V.
Wade.
The question I want to answer today is whether or not the Plan B pill is still legal in Kentucky after the recent Supreme Court decision. And I’ve got good news for those of you who rely on Plan B – it will still be legal. As a contraceptive measure in Kentucky, we passed a recent act called the Human Life
Protection Act.
What it states basically is that all contraceptives, as long as you use them according to the manufacturer label, you use them as they’re intended, and they can be used prior to when you can find out if you’re pregnant or not, it’s still going to be legal. You can still use Plan B.
The good news is for now. I wouldn’t trust the legislators to not go a step further and eventually take that off the table. So right now, go ahead and stock up on your Plan B.
