First of all, you need to contact a professional who handles these kinds of claims every day, because we need to get notices out to the insurance companies. Sometimes I need to figure out, okay, if it’s a hit and run, I need to contact this bank here and get the surveillance video footage to figure out who actually caused the damage. So if you’re actually walking on the sidewalk, crossing the street, and you get injured, whether it’s a fall or you’re hit by a motor vehicle, contact somebody who does this every day.
